Love is in the air.....

Oh yes it is! I have been having fun making Valentines things and recreating my "art place"!

Art place:

Allen put down a light laminate floor and then painted two opposite walls Frosted Mulbery and the other two walls Latte. Most of the accessories are black, a few were left their original color. I got rid of my 8 foot table and am using an old dresser as my work space until I can find a tall table. Most of my stash is in plastic containers or decorative baskets, using the drawers in the dresser for larger items. Th white file cabinet has all my scrap paper pieces, recycled cardboard and instruction sheets. The space feels awesome! These pics are before I put everything back in! Hopefully I can get some pics of the "after" soon!

Happy 2011!

Time sure does fly - I cannot believe it's 2011!!

My hope is that 2011 is a creative, prosperous, healthy and happy new year!!

I try not to make any resolutions, because I never keep them! This year I am really going to make an effort to create more, eat much more healthier! I started a Facebook page for my creations so I can show off what I am doing and maybe sell a few things so others can enjoy my creations!

I have already started on Valentines day- made some french fry holders for candy- reused Starbucks coffee jars also for candy or whatever you'd like to put in them. There are some bottle cap designs in process as well.

While I am really looking forward to this new year, I am also a bit sad - I have made the choice to purge what is not adding any value to my life. January will be the cleansing period, clearing out closets, craft room and anything that is in the attic. Time to really take a look at what I have and if I really need it- it's time to minimized and be practical! I have so much craft stuff and keep buying more without using what I already have! It's hard not to buy when there is so much fun stuff coming out! I vow to only buy what is on sale and use coupons!! From what I have been reading 2011 sounds like it is going to be a tough year for our economy so it would be nice to be somewhat prepared for it! Maybe I will decorate a binder for my coupons to make it fun! I am going to put that on my list of things to do!

Well I am off, I have things to get done!

Latest creations

Here are some fun things I have been working on.....Christmas tree for outside my cube at work, Card class and Rosettes ---I used one of the rosettes for the tree , they are fun to make with different papers!

For my friend who is crazy about Adam Lambert! They were drying when I took the pics, I used glossy accents and diamond dust. I love how it came out so glittery. Looks so much better in person cause you can see the sparkles from the glass!

Where has the time gone......

Been busy at home and at work lately with no the energy to post on here - does anyone really read these posts?? Life has changed once again - family and friends have gone through changes in their lives which effects me too. So I have made a few changes of my own and I really don't care if I am alone at this point. I am tired of the drama and the backstabing. I am going to start acting like some of them - I will not do anything for you unless it benefits me, tired of helping and getting nothing in return, not even a thank you! You can pick up the phone and call me, not when you just need something from me! Who's going to help me when I need it??This is my life and if you don't like it too bad, move on! This is my time to create and be happy! Creating is what I have been doing lately, I am hooked on making bottle cap jewelry - I have other projects on the table as well, just need to get to them! I need to get some pics out of the stuff I have done so you can see --Done ranting, not going to waste my time on people that are fake, including family! This blog is about my creations and my journey to creativeness, so my next post will be about things I have created or working on!

I am working on a pennant swap for my T!m group - I have to make nine of them, this is just an idea of what I am doing! I have three done so far!
