boy it's cold out there....

Over the weekend, my DH hung the rest of the Christmas lights in shorts--Yes I said shorts, it was 70 degrees when he started and then it plummeted down from there. As you can see from the picture of our flags it was windy as well - really windy.



We made cookies this weekend too, well Allen helped....lol Here is the proof...














And of course the doggies were decorated too! The Dogs BoWow made these cute bandana's you insert the dogs collar in, so cool! Rowdy (doxie) right and Bandit (chi) on the left. Showing off their digs!










So now the cold, cold weather is here - yesterday driving to work was slippery and stressful! Today, sorry to say but I just gave up, it was too slickery out there and it scares me that other people are so careless and drive fast! Sometimes you just have to wonder if it is worth smashing your car or better yet hurting yourself--I took the selfish route and went back home!

It does not feel like Christmas.....

this weekend here in OK is going to be in the 60's and windy so it's not feeling like Christmas! Famous last words because the news is talking about an ICE storm early next week, yuck!! Or maybe it won't be so bad.......Well I made a card for my SS person at work, I am really happy with the way it turned out. I pulled my ideas from TH 12 tags of Christmas which I will also incorporate into my family Christmas cards too! Speaking of which I need to get started on them so I can get them in the mail!!!

Been a long time..........

I really have to make a better effort in keeping this blog up!

Anyway there has been so much going on. We had Thanksgiving in our new house this year! My son, Marc, came up from Texas, my mom and sister, Britani and Ben, Terri, Michelle and Michael. It was a houseful and lots of food too! The weather was nice outside a few sat on our patio and ate. We had a busy weekend too, went to Best Buy, Target and a few smaller stores. Marc got his laptop, yay!! We went to Rhema on Saturday night to see the lights, it was awesome as usual - they do such a great job!

Fast forward to today.....been working on my Secret Santa tags along with getting the gifts together. We do a ssecret santa at work, it is so much fun to do- I also have been checking out the Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas as well - that's what inspired the idea of tags for my SS person at work, thought they dressed up the gift.So I have 5 days of SS gifts and three tags made. I will post them here..I also had to make a snow flurry card for my Stamp swap, which I will post here too!

Oh yeah, I asked my fabulous husband to hang lights on our house, look at the pretty lights....we have the front left side over my craft room window to finish and the back patio.
