Been MIA......

Wow can't believe it's been so long since I last posted!! Shame on me!!

Well let's see what has been going on.. had a circus swap to complete, a baby shower to go to, a birthday party to go to, a necklace made for a friend, monthly mailer to do and a bunch of other things! .....ah so much to do so little time!! It has been fun though!!

The circus swap was interesting, I was not sure what I was going to do with it. I had collected some ideas and empherma for it, however, once I got it all together I did not like it! So I had to really think about what I was going to do! Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, ouch! I was up to my eyeballs in clowns, glue & stickles! I changed out the popcorn for "cotton" candy, as shown in the last photo - these are the backs of the 17 pages!!The second to last photo is the finished front! Yay all done and mailed!

The next two are for a baby shower and my nephews birthday: I got the peapod idea from some magazine and tweaked to make it my own - Her wedding colors were the brown, green and pink so I thought it was appropriate for her baby shower!! This is s sympathy card for a friend at work who's father recently passed away. A birthday card for a guy at work!

I made this necklace for a friend who is crazy about Alice in Wonderland!

Sorry it's so blurry - was trying to get a close up, guess I did not take a better one before I gave it to her!

I managed to get in a small shopping spree in all this chaos of creating too!! Like that was hard to do!!

Cleaned up my table so I could work on another project, my March monthly mailer! I wanted to do something a bit different than a card or a wall hanging so I got a cigar box from Croppinsville and went at it! We have to use a technique from TIm Holtz, this one was the 2008 March technique - very cool! The top is the second photo and the front bottom is the third - it was fun to make, now to mail it--hmmm gotta think of an interesting way to mail it! I also worked on my black & white tags for a swap too! They were fun to do but hard not to put any color on them! Had to smack my hand a few times for reaching for colors! The last item is a necklace I created using Allies line of raw metals - such fun that was! I used alcohol inks, rock candy stickles and rock candy distress crackle paint! Stuck a brad in the middle to hold it all together, put a bail on it and la la a necklace!

Well I think that is it for now, whew! I hope everyone has a blessed week filled with lots of creative things!
Peace, love and hugs!
